How Premium Bandai One Piece drops work: raffles, open sales and timed pre-orders
Premium Bandai (p-bandai.com/us) is Bandai’s own online store, and for a lot of One Piece Card Game product it’s the only place you’ll ever see it at the price Bandai set. It’s also confusing the first time, because the same box can go through up to three different kinds of sale. Here’s how each one works.
1. “Chance to Buy” raffles
For the biggest products, Premium Bandai starts with a raffle. You enter during a window, winners are drawn, and winners get the right to buy. Two examples from 2026:
| Product | Entries | Winners |
|---|---|---|
| OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors booster box | Sep 16, 10 PM – Sep 26, 11:59 PM ET | 5,004 |
| OP-16 The Time of Battle booster box | Sep 16, 10 PM – Sep 26, 11:59 PM ET | 864 |
You need a Premium Bandai account to enter, and the product winners buy is a separate listing that nobody else can purchase. Entering costs nothing, so enter every raffle for a product you want.
2. The open sale after a raffle
Sometimes, after the raffle, Bandai opens a first-come sale for everyone, under a new product code at a set time. OP-17’s opened on October 14 at 9 PM ET. The catch: that open-sale listing didn’t show up in the site’s own search. If you were waiting for it to appear in the card shop, you missed it.
The raffle listing does point to it once it exists, which is how our monitor finds these: it watches every raffle product and the listing that follows it.
3. Timed pre-orders
The third kind needs no luck at all, only speed. A pre-order is announced with a start time. At that time the product page opens for orders, first come, first served, until the stock is gone. There’s no queue and no lottery, so being early is everything.
- Per-person limits are set per product. The Gundam PB04 premium set was 1 per person; the Digimon PB-27 battle set allowed 12.
- The order window can say weeks, but the stock won’t last. PB04’s open sale started October 25 at 10 PM ET with an order window into November. By the next afternoon its page showed 0 units left.
- Big One Piece windows can fill in minutes. The first minute matters more than the next hour.
How to be ready for a timed drop
- Make your account days before, not at 8:58 PM. Save your shipping address and payment method.
- Be logged in before the start time with the product page open.
- Know the time in your own time zone. Our alerts show the start in your local time automatically.
- Get the reminder. We post when a sale is announced and again 15 minutes before it opens.
- Act on the live ping. Around the start, our monitor reads the product page every second and pings you the moment it opens, with how many units are left.
How Skypiea Deals watches Premium Bandai
Everything above is built into one monitor in the Discord, posting to the One Piece channel:
- 🎟️ new card raffles, with the entry window and winner count, and again when entries open
- 📅 pre-orders and open sales as soon as they’re announced, with the start time
- ⏰ a reminder 15 minutes before
- 🟢 the moment it’s live: price, units left and the per-person limit
- 🔔 restocks when an open sale gets stock back
Premium Bandai also runs Gundam, Digimon, Dragon Ball and Union Arena card drops the same way; each game has its own channel, so you only get pinged for the ones you collect.
